Much as I was loath to leave the Cape, where the sound of surf and birds is never far in the distance, it was necessary to return for a day of meetings and business in the city. And as much as I love the Cape and my morning rides to the ocean, coming home makes me realize what I have. A beautiful house on the Hudson River:
A house where last years kale might just decide to reseed itself.
Where the dahlias grow tall and large and where the crickets and tree frogs keep up a chorus all night and our little brown dog waits for us at the door.
With incomparable sunsets.
A house where last years kale might just decide to reseed itself.
Where the dahlias grow tall and large and where the crickets and tree frogs keep up a chorus all night and our little brown dog waits for us at the door.
