The OGT Daily #18 Organizing

Organizing is my own particular form of therapy. Though I realize I'm probably not alone in this.  One could accuse me of being OCD. I know certain people who would in fact, but organizing is one of the ways I help my self out; it let's me think, find old objects and memories, get rid of clutter, hold on longer to things I should get rid of, blow off the dust, brush away the cobwebs, clear a little space, and be brave to face the next steps. And for me the next steps are making art again. After six months of sitting on my can, loosing bone density because of it and having every muscle in my body not just tense up but go flabby from writing on the computer - it's time to get moving and make things again.

I found a beautiful old mid-century modern cabinet of plastic drawers crammed with stuff.

And I love to make stuff out of random stuff, so let's see what stuff happens...

Today I am grateful for the exercise of organizing and how it moves my life forward.

What are you grateful for today?
